About Us
Who we are
Equus Alliance is a registered charity and public benevolent institution, founded in 2018, originally as an animal welfare charity to rescue and rehabilitate horses. This was then extended to provide personal development programs utilising Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) activities in partnership with our rescued horses.
Our hands-on Equine Assisted Learning programs promote mental, physical and social well-being, and have been developed to support women and families whose lives have been impacted by domestic and family violence, grief and trauma.
Our programs are held on private property in Haigslea in Queensland as well as Fernleigh in NSW and provide participants with a private, tranquil and calming environment.

Equus Alliance relies on the generous financial support and donations from the general public, community groups, businesses and grants to be able to provide fully funded programs.
